Travellers Auto Barn have taken home the "Best National Camper/Car rental company" award at this years Golden Backpacks. That's 3 out of the last 4 years we've gone home with the silverware!! Or clear plastic pointy thing-ware as is the case! The awards dinner, hosted by TNT magazine and conducted by comedian Jeff Green, was held on Thursday night at Star City casino in Sydney and is Australia's premier awards night for the youth travel and backpacker industry. This was the forth time Travellers Auto Barn have been nominated as finalists in a group which this year included some of the cream of Australia's backpacker industry and to tell you the truth things were a little nervy at the TAB table. This is what Travellers Auto Barn MD Peter Burke has to say about the win. "It was such an honor to be nominated again as a finalist for the Golden Backpacks. This award just keeps getting bigger and bigger every year so even to included in the final five or six is pretty special. But to take home the prize against some excellent competition tonight is just amazing.
